Traveling, performing, making, dressing and more...

Keeping up with appearances.....

So many things to add to this blog and not enough time to do it in.
So I'll just do what I can and try to do this again later.

So here's the scoop:

I lost my voice
I party-ed a lot every night
I got home every morning around 8AM
I continued to lose my voice some more w/ some allergies from the NYC Spring
I met Michael Cera from Arrested Development, Juno and Bad Ass (he was all over my brown ass, who knew he liked the latinas????)
I started my mens line
I started HOUNDSTOOTH:HOME
I am getting ready to work on a piece for PS1 radio
I am helping a girl work on her Masters Thesis about New American Women in Improvised Music---which by the way seems tailored to my life
I am getting ready for DIA:BEACON--->sooooo nervous
I'm thinking about working on a video/sound piece with Daniel Kötter in Stuttgart, Germany in July
I'm helping plan Anna's graduation party next week
y mas y mas y mas y mas

so yeah, I be busy in shiiit.....

so on to my dayzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz::::
SPRING has done SPRUNG in NYC y'all!!!!!
hooray!!!

And it was Thomas Dexters Birthday, which was concocted by his girlfriend Heather to be a surprise birthday party and we surprised him goooood. So good that he put this weird hat on

and then we all did.

So a few weeks ago (has it been that looong????) My friend Donna Huanca had to get ready for her "open studio" thing with the LMCC, so I hung around every night helping hr set her studio space up for the big show.

This was up on the roof with Big D:

My boyfriend. Sort of....she's to impatient for paint, so she treats fabric as paint for her pieces. I likes it...

We're all about large installations, so we worked together to plan the space out. It was tiring but fun. Just weed, wine thinking, recording our chanting, more weed, more wine more chanting.....

Photos wont load, will try again tomorrow. DAMN IT!!! SO SLEEPY!!!
