Benefit concert for Laura Kennedy, the founding member and original bassist of the 80s NYC punk/funk outfit Bush Tetras. As a result of a Hepatitis C infection, Kennedy is in need of an immediate liver transplant.
Concert lineup includes: Bush Tetras, James Chance & Nona Hendryx, and an 'all star' jam featuring Lenny Kaye, Ivan Julian, Deborah Frost, and more. The show will take place at Cake Shop, 52 Ludlow Street in New York's Lower East Side on Sunday 26 October at 8pm with all proceeds from the concert going to the Laura Kennedy Liver Fund. Admission $15 minimum donation
